About Kim Perry...

"I've always wanted to help caregiver's achieve their highest potential."

Kim Perry, FNP-C, is a compassionate guide for those on the caregiving journey, blending her heartfelt experiences as a hospice nurse and her personal story of losing her father.

A proud Alaskan, Kim shares her home with her husband Kevin and their beloved dog Zak, a dedicated hospice service dog who’s been with her at the bedside of her patients through countless visits.

When she’s not offering wisdom and support, you’ll find Kim soaking up the sun in warmer climates and indulging in delicious food. She’s a devoted daughter, sister, mom, and new grandma, bringing joy and warmth to everyone she meets.

My purpose...

To help caregivers

We become competent by looking, learning, and practicing.

My primary purpose in helping other caregivers is: to reduce the emotional and physical burdens of caregiving, and thereby protect mental health and physical health. Caregivers are called "secondary patients" because they are the ones who often get sick and injured from the work, but their stress and strain is invisible (and also culturally accepted).

I hope that together we can change that!

Caregivers who are prepared and confident to lead may actively impact the building of a better world.

Loving to Death: Self-help for Caregivers

This book was created with the purpose of helping other caregivers.

It surrounds the topic of caregiving through terminal illness and advanced aging. Preparing the caregiver to deal with the emotional and physical burden of caregiving. It offers practical tips and education about the concepts of these complex disease processes.

I truly believe that caregivers who are prepared and confident to lead may actively impact the building of a better world.

Let's get started!

It is time...

Are you being asked to do a tough role for someone you dearly love, with no guidebook?

You want to be competent. You want to be the world's best caregiver. You want to protect your own joy of life, without having it all go down the drain. You want to stay balanced, happy, and you want to pour into your loved one without emptying your own tank, or at least know how to re-fill your tank.

It won't drain out so quickly if you feel good about the work your doing, and you know your person is happy, loved, and receiving high-quality care.
